Stage-Academy was set up by Anthony Worrall to train and develop up and coming artistes for a career in the music and entertainment industry.
Here at Stage-Academy we endeavour to support all students regardless of their learning ability and educational background.
With many years experience in the industry he saw a huge gap in the market as to the way students and up and coming artistes were being taught. He saw students coming out of stage schools and performing art schools with qualifications but no foundation for a professional career. Students lacked an appropriate CV, material or portfolio. Anthony decided the best method would be a more holistic approach. Instead of just teaching, Stage-Academy would prepare them for their own career, and then introduce them to Stage-Academy‘s own in-house agency and artist management.
As well as being founder and principle at the Stage-Academy, over the years Anthony has helped and worked with many up and coming Artistes to help them fulfil their Dreams of being Professional Artistes and Stage Acts.
With 35 Years Experience as a Musician / Performer and an Agent Anthony started his career at the age of Seven, with Music and Piano lessons with the Music Director at Chester Cathedral. He was a Member of groups and bands just like today. As a member as one of these he was managed by Bill Hurley and became a well known 70s Band. In 1972 he was introduced to the Songwriters Guild by Lyndsey De Paul. He took a step back from the band, but continued to write material for both stage and recording. He has been a Live Music Director for a number of known Artistes both on and off Stage and has been a Reg Agent for the past twenty years amongst other areas of the Industry.
